Dominica Gallery

Welded ignimbrite (the Roseau Tuff) with columnar jointing at top of cliff in Roseau River valley at east end of Roseau - the island capital. These welded ignimbrites form cliffs on either side of the Roseau River valley and have yielded radiocarbon ages of greater than 46,000 years to 26,000 years.
